NBA Draft Prospects 1-60

Best shooter in the draft! He shoots an insane 52.2% from the 3, with 8.2 attempts, per game. Solid athlete, has sneaky “bounce,” will dunk on you. Outstanding mechanics, with high release. Averages 1.4 steals per game too. “3 & D” wing that will help teams immediately. He’ll light it up in individual team workouts. Wing shooting is the most coveted skill in the NBA. Nesmith will be popular in ‘‘Draft rooms.”

Intriguing prospect. Can guard 4 positions. Tough athletic player. “Glue” guy that can play multiple positions. Above average “bounce.” Has potential to be defensive specialist at the NBA level. Good feel for the game. Sometimes a little too aggressive. 5 game stretch with 4 fouls. Offensively, he is shooting 51 % from the field, most of it in the paint. Needs to polish his handle and expand his shooting. If his perimeter game improves he will be a fixture in the league.

May have the highest ceiling in the draft! Big time talent! Can grab a rebound, and go ”coast to coast,” stop on a dime, and change direction like a NYC point guard. Finishes at the rim with a variety of moves. Solid bounce. Can shoot off the dribble. Needs to get stronger. Skinny (only weighs 190 on 6 ft 10 frame). Needs to be more aggressive offensively. Has a tendency to float during games. Can mature into a scoring machine at the NBA level. Has skills of a very young Kevin Durant. If he can land in a nurturing situation (only 19 years old), he will flourish.

International prospect that has been written about as potential lottery pick. That’s too ambitious. Has not produced enough to justify it. Only averages 4.2 points per game in limited minutes for Maccabi Tel Aviv (Playing in top league outside of the NBA in the world). Shoots only 55% from the free throw line for his career. Average athlete. Scouts question his motor and defensive skills for wing player at 6 ft. 8. Has intriguing skill set. Above average passer, solid ball handler, with good IQ. Has potential to be good if he works on aforementioned weaknesses. Seems logical for a winning NBA team (that can afford to stash him for a year) to draft him late first round.

Finished the year against strong Arizona team (with several NBA player on their roster) with 29 points 12 Rebounds. Imposing physical player. Strong. Outstanding at sealing players in the post. Too strong for most players to push him off the block. Finishes with jump hook and uses both hands. Not too bouncy, finishes below the rim. Plays with a good motor and is a good free throw shooter. Sets solid screens. Defensively will have to continue to work on his ability to show against perimeter players. Late first round pick. Can carve out a niche at NBA level as tough, rebounding, big.
